Earlier this year, Visit Lauderdale announced the new and exciting attractions headed to the Greater Fort Lauderdale area. Now, they have more than 100 activities and sights visitors should explore when planning a trip to Fort Lauderdale.

If you’re one of the many people facing the annual conundrum of what to do this summer, Visit Lauderdale’s new 101 Days of Summer campaign makes planning a vacation easier than ever, with a collection of enticing experiences that showcase Greater Fort Lauderdale’s 31 communities.

From family-friendly vacations to luxurious, romantic getaways, 101 Days of Summer is a curated list of vacation ideas and concrete examples of what to see and do in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day.

“We wanted to provide our visitors and locals with a roadmap to relaxation this summer,” said Ritter. “So, whether it’s sunbathing, boating, fishing, shopping, or exploring our decadent foodie paradise, our list has something for everyone.”

Take an airboat ride in the world-famous Everglades National Park in Weston, where you’re likely to spot alligators, amazing wading birds, and other native Florida creatures, or chill out in one of the area’s eight distinctive beach communities. The choice is yours and with 101 ways to explore this diverse destination, your only decision will be what to do first.

Some highlights include:

  • Celebrate our nation’s birthday in Greater Fort Lauderdale this Fourth of July! Enjoy big-name bands, games, arts and crafts, and more at the Fort Lauderdale Beach Fourth of July Spectacular, culminating with fireworks at 8:45 pm.
