Travel to Cuba with Big Freedia!

Most of us not only know Big Freedia for her cameo in Beyoncé’s hit “Break My Soul,” but they are also the Queen of New Orleans’ Bounce music. Well, now you can travel with Big Freedia to Cuba, where they are set to be the first major international LGBTQ+ artist to perform at Havana’s popular club Cuban Art Factory next month!

On November 15-20, 2023, guests will get to take part in this special “Cuba with Big Freedia” cultural exchange program! Guests will travel with the Queen Diva to explore Cuba’s rich culture and history and connect with Cuban artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, and activists while supporting and celebrating Havana’s LGBTQ+ community. Lucky vacationers will also have the opportunity to explore Cuba’s African roots and its connection to New Orleans. 


The Program Highlights include:

  • Big Freedia Performance at the top Cuban music venue
  • Big Freedia Happy Hour with Cuban creative community
  • Cigar and Rum Tasting hosted by the Queen Diva
  • Musical Exchange program with youth musicians at the music conservatory
  • Fashion show and twerk competition celebrating Cuban designers and bounce music
  • Learn from and support the LGBTQ+ community and Cuban artists and entrepreneurs
  • Travel by classic American cars from the 1950s
  • Exclusive, behind-the-scenes jam sessions with Cuban musicians

“I’m looking forward to meeting lots of Cubans, exploring our shared history and culture, and learning from each other. And we’re going to have a damn good time down there in Havana, so join me and my crew,” said Big Freedia.

This five-night immersive trip in Cuba costs $3,125 per person (double occupancy) and $3,675 per person (single occupancy). The package includes five nights’ accommodations in Cuba, daily breakfast, meals (as specified on the itinerary), professional, bilingual guide and local ground transportation for listed activities, pre-trip departure info, compliance with U.S. Treasury Department regulations, speaker fees, admission to all museums and public buildings (on itinerary), and coordination of all listed activities. 

Not Included: Round-trip airfare, Cuban Visa, meals and activities other than listed on itinerary, individual house or hotel expenses as well as tips for local guides, drivers, restaurant service, etc.
