Long known as a cherished “holiday home” for discerning travelers, The Peninsula New York once again welcomes guests this winter with a sumptuous calendar of festive experiences.
This year’s festivities at The Peninsula New York celebrate timeless Holiday traditions—while giving back to the community in a perfect union of luxury and generosity. Guests are invited to gather beneath the hotel’s magnificently decorated Lobby Christmas tree, share five-star feasts and treats, and enjoy live holiday music performances and joyful activities.
Visitors will be able to stop by the lobby every Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm from November 29 until December 23, 2024 to enjoy holiday music sung by Victorian carolers.

The Season of Giving: The Peninsula Gives Back
Since its founding, The Peninsula New York has extended support to underserved community members through outreach programs and charitable donations – and we make special efforts to give during the holidays. This year, guests can join the hotel in contributing to the welfare of local children; for each Festive Afternoon Tea booked during the festive season, The Peninsula New York will donate $10 to The New York Center for Children (NYCC). NYCC is the only independent center in New York City to provide comprehensive evaluation and therapy services to child victims of physical and sexual abuse and their families, free of charge, for as long as their healing requires. Dedicated to serving children for 29 years, the center has served more than 15,000 children and their families in the surrounding areas.
