First Look at Another Simple Favor and its Capri Location
Directed by Paul Feig, the sequel to A Simple Favor shifts gears and gets a glow-up with its iconic Italian location, Capri.
Starring Anna Kendrick, Blake Lively, Andrew Rannells, Elizabeth Perkins, Alex Newell, Henry Golding, Allison Janney, and more, Another Simple Favor looks set to be a total trip.
Another Simple Favor (the sequel to A Simple Favor) was filmed in Capri, Italy, specifically at the timelessly opulent and regal Grand Hotel Quisisana, for scenes depicting Emily’s extravagant wedding. The movie follows Emily Nelson (Blake Lively) and Stephanie Smothers (Anna Kendrick) as they reunite on the island for Emily’s wedding to a rich Italian businessman.
So there’s the storyline: Stephanie Smothers (Anna Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Blake Lively) reunite on the beautiful island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman. Along with the glamorous guests, expect murder and betrayal to RSVP for a wedding with more twists and turns than the road from the Marina Grande to the Capri town square.
Capri, an island in Italy’s Bay of Naples, is famed for its rugged landscape, upscale hotels, and shopping, from designer fashions to handmade leather sandals. In summer, Capri’s dramatic, cove-studded coastline draws many millionaires and their yachts, and it makes for a dramatic change in setting from the original A Simple Favor, which was filmed in Toronto, Canada, with scenes set in far more suburban locations like Unionville and Elmcrest Public School.
