Lesbian, Nonbinary, and Trans Folk Invited to the Stargaze Festival

Stargaze, the LGBTQ+ lesbian, non-binary and trans music and camping festival will be returning August 26-28 at its new location of Camp Timber Trails in Tolland, Massachusetts.

“Dance in the middle of the woods. Sleep under the stars. Immerse yourself in the dreamlike interactive environment of artists, creators, and party goers. The Stargaze community is the way life should be fun, beautiful, and all-inclusive. Stargaze lets women, non-binary, and trans people live free without judgment, expectations, or limitations. Life is truly what you make it. Join us for an unforgettable weekend.”

This is the invitation that greets you on the Stargaze Festival homepage. Organized by Shuttavac Productions, the festival is meant to be a three-day celebration of music, art, creativity, and community. Attendees will be camping on a lake with live music, dance parties, swimming, games, workshops, yoga and so many other activities that will enable you to let your cares melt away and commune with hundreds of like-minded individuals.

The lineup of entertainment this year features Mary Lambert, Melissa Ferrick, Lisa Bello, Sister Funk, Adrianne Mack-Davis, Dj RosyQ, DJ Monster, Dj La Nena, DJ Cilla and more to be announced. There will also be an open mic acoustic stage set up for anyone willing to share their talents with the group. Attendees are encouraged to plan their own events, host workshops, and do anything they can to share their unique talents and creativity. As the organizers say: “We provide the space, you create the environment.”

Accommodations are rustic in spirit with the summer camp feeling of it all. Attendees are required to purchase a festival pass that includes a reserved spot for their tent. For those that prefer a cot, you are able to rent a cabin as a group of four or as an individual. However, they come with no water or electricity, and you must provide your own bedding.

Campers, who must be 21 and older, should be prepared to bring a tent, camping supplies, drinking water, food, alcohol, costumes, clothing, cooking utensils, a bicycle, your imagination, and good vibes!
