Sir Elton John Wants a Family Vacation in Antarctica
Sir Elton John will end his ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour in Sweden on July 8 after he makes a stop in Glastonbury, England on June 25, 2023. Yep, he’s been on a world tour singing some of his most memorable hits including “Rocket Man,” “Tiny Dancer,” “Candle in the Wind,” “I’m Still Standing,” and “Crocodile Rock.”
Well, according to his husband, David Furnish, it looks like the happily married couple and their children Zachary, 12, and Elijah, 10, may head to the icy south when Sir Elton John wraps up his tour.
In a Your Money Map interview, Furnish said, “There are places I’d like to travel and take the boys. I have a real fascination and love of India… and our sons both want to go to Antarctica, and Elton wants to go as well.” He may not know how to get there, but he said it’s a travel destination the entire family can do together.
Furnish also mentioned that the iconic music star also wants to take the kids to see his favorite Watford football team play. And by the sound of it, their eldest child, Zachary has turned into a real fishing aficionado, identified the best fishing places in the world, and wants to go to Costa Rica, and Hawaii, and go salmon fishing in Scotland.
