Single and Ready to Find ‘Love Beyond Borders’
On the new Bravo TV show, Love Without Borders, five single Americans – including a gay man – pack their bags to meet their potential boo in an undisclosed, different country!
You’ve been chatting with someone on a “dating” app or website for a few weeks, but when it comes to an in-person meeting – well, they’ve ghosted you! Maybe, you’ve tried a legit matchmaking website, or you’ve allowed your besties to arrange blind dates for you, but in the end, it never worked out.
Well, now Bravo is about to take the search for true love to a whole new level with its new TV series, Love Beyond Borders. The series follows five Americans who put it all on the line for love. With help from relationship expert Arica Angelo, the excited singles (after exhausting all their options) pack their bags at a moment’s notice, grab their passports, and fly to a destination that’s not revealed until they’re at the airport.
But wait, the singles will not get to speak with or even see a photo of their match before leaving the United States! The reality begins when they arrive at the destinations to finally meet their match. From cultural differences to finally seeing each other in person, we can’t imagine how their individual stories will unfold. Will they be unlucky or lucky in love?
We’ve got our eye on the one and only LGBTQ+ couple featured on the show. Aaron Motacek is one of the five singles looking for love. He’s from Fargo, North Dakota, and knows he must make a drastic choice to find love. As part of the process, Motacek has to leave his comfortable life, his brother’s optometry practice, and his close-knit family to take a big gamble on love.
So, here’s what we know so far… Motacek will make jet off to Paris to meet his potential boo, Maël Lucas, a former business logistics consultant who left his job in 2019 to pursue his passion in the world of massage. According to his professional Instagram bio, he specializes in Californian, Balinese, Shirotchampi (Indian head massage), Thai Massage on the Floor, and Thai foot massages. Maybe we’ll get to see this masseur’s skills on Motacek!
