Out at the Fair Adds Riverside County Fair to Growing Roster of Events
Out at the Fair will be kicking off its 2023 season with its newest location, the Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival, on February 18.
Out at the Fair (OATF) is the official LGBTQ+ family-friendly festival of the Fair industry. After a small number of queer people agreed to meet up at the San Diego County Fair in 2011, organizers set up a Facebook check-in for the ‘unofficial gay days event,’ which ultimately led to the creation of the organization and the first official OATF event at the San Diego Fair in 2014. The goal of OATF is to build a safe space for our community at participating fairs while focusing on inclusion, education, and fun. The number of fairs participating has grown exponentially through the years with the Riverside County Fair becoming the latest to participate.
Organizers have scheduled a fun-filled day of events for attendees with everyone’s favorite Gay Uncles Pauly & Monks serving as your emcees in addition to dragalicious diva Landa Plenty. They will keep you company as you are serenaded by a variety of musicians, all leading up to the National Date Pageant that evening and the fabulous ‘Glam Show’ drag revue to cap off the day!
The following is a rundown of key events and performers.
