New Orleans to Welcome Taylor Swift For Halloween Weekend Festivities

Calling al Gaylors! New Orleans will welcome superstar Taylor Swift for her much-anticipated Eras Tour for three sold-out shows at the Caesars Superdome on October 25, 26, and 27, coinciding with an already huge, gaytastic Halloween weekend. Plus, YOU have a chance to win a trip to NOLA!

New Orleans’ “reputation” for a spooky culture in New Orleans will give Swifties an added experience and showcase why New Orleans is Built to Host major events and celebrate holidays unlike anywhere else.

More than 150,000 fans from across the world will drive huge business to New Orleans. As of October 13th, hotel rooms in the city will be sold out for the nights of the 25th and 26th and rooms are nearly 80 percent sold for the 27th.

Not only will the Eras tour bring big business to New Orleans hotels, but it will also help fill the city’s restaurants, bars, and other attractions and businesses that will give visitors a world-class experience. Many businesses across the city have created their own unique, creative and fun experiences to help “Swifties” celebrate all things Taylor Swift.  Activities include themed lunches and dinner, to specialized cocktails and events that include glitz and glamour for visitors to get ready for the big concerts in New Orleans.

“What other city can say it will host Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour for three nights, the Super Bowl and Mardi Gras all in a matter of six months?” said Walter Leger III, President and CEO of New Orleans & Company, the official destination marketing and sales organization for the New Orleans tourism industry. “We thrive on hosting big events and our unique blend of culture, history and outstanding hospitality will create a one-of-a-kind experience that Taylor’s fans will remember for a lifetime.”

Local residents are getting into the spirit of the weekend with their own tributes to both Halloween and Taylor that visitors can visit. There’s even a Taylor Swift-inspired home in its “Spooky Era.” Check it out here.
