Marriott International Celebrates Ballroom Culture in New Campaign
In case you missed it, Marriott International joined the House of Garçon and Ballroom Icon Dashaun Wesley, “The King of Vogue” and host of Max’s Legendary to celebrate Capital Pride in Washington, DC on June 10, 2023. It was also the launch of the company’s The Ballroom is Open campaign with D.C.’s House of Garçon in an effort to celebrate and amplify Ballroom culture.
The Ballroom is Open campaign honors the origin story of Ballroom culture as havens for Black and Latinx members of the LGBTQ+ community. The new campaign is just an extension of Marriott’s long-standing LoveTravels platform.
The trio celebrated Capital Pride with a float that not only highlighted D.C.’s iconic ballroom house but it featured video screens that provided a first look at The Ballroom is Open campaign. Check it out below!
