Lez Camp Provides Space for Queer Women in the Ozarks

With summer quickly passing us by, many queer travelers have been opting to return to the great outdoors for their vacations – LGBTQ-themed sleepaway camps and music festivals – to maximize their time in the sun.  These types of summertime getaways have the added benefit of allowing you to commune with smaller groups of like-minded people to promote community building and establish lifelong friendships. We are happy to present Lez Camp as another one of these options.

Lez Camp describes itself as “an inclusive community that celebrates diversity in all forms.” It’s touted as a safe and welcoming space for all who want to celebrate life and build community.  And Eureka Springs, Arkansas – which just happens to be one of Vacationer’s 22 LGBTQ-friendly small cities in the United States – hosts the outdoor event.

From July 28th through the 31st, Lez Camp has planned a fun and diverse assortment of events to appeal to almost every woman. The host hotel, The Wanderoo Lodge, still has some availability as of the published date of this article. Attendees have a number of gay and lesbian-owned accommodations nearby just in case there’s no vacancy at the Lodge. Outdoor camping options are also available.

The following is a brief rundown of the schedule:
