Kim Petras and Trixie Mattel to Headline OUTLOUD in Boston
Pre-sale registration is now open for OUTLOUD, the leading queer music festival, which expands this year to the East Coast.
OUTLOUD, the leading LGBTQ+ music brand dedicated to celebrating and amplifying queer artistry through groundbreaking live events and entertainment experiences, announced today its expansion to the East Coast with its first-ever Boston music festival. Taking place on June 21, 2025, at The Stage at Suffolk Downs, OUTLOUD Boston will close out Pride month and be headlined by Kim Petras and Trixie Mattel (DJ Set). As the premier queer music brand, OUTLOUD is committed to celebrating and uplifting diverse queer voices by providing a stage for LGBTQ+ artists to shine and creating safe spaces for the queer community to gather and support these artists.

Co-produced by award-winning events and entertainment agency JJLA and the premier concert promoter The Bowery Presents, OUTLOUD Boston will spotlight both established and emerging artists. The event’s full lineup includes Flo Milli, Rebecca Black, G Flip, Frankie Grande, Oompa, Big Body Kweeng, Hannah Rad, and MATH3CA.
“OUTLOUD understands the assignment: queer talent, great music, and hot people!” said Trixie Mattel, OUTLOUD Boston headliner. “Getting the opportunity to bring that energy to Boston for the first time is such an honor, and I’m so ready to serve on stage.”
“In today’s political climate, it’s more important than ever to uplift queer voices and provide a platform for LGBTQ+ artists,” said Founder and Executive Producer of OUTLOUD Jeff Consoletti. “Bringing the OUTLOUD Music Festival to my hometown of Boston is a surreal and full circle moment for me, a moment that isn’t lost in today’s climate of hostility towards my LGBTQ community.”
In a city recently reaffirmed as a sanctuary for the transgender community, OUTLOUD’s arrival holds deeper significance. The Boston City Council’s 2023 resolution declaring the city a “sanctuary city for transgender and gender-diverse individuals” reinforces the city’s commitment to providing inclusive and protected spaces for its LGBTQ+ residents.
OUTLOUD’s mission of creating safe, affirming environments through music and celebration directly aligns with Boston’s values making it a natural home for the festival’s East Coast debut. The Bowery Presents’ commitment to creating safe spaces for all guests and artists at each of their venues has always been a core pillar of the brand.
“The Bowery Presents is proud to partner with OUTLOUD for their East Coast debut”, commented Senior Vice President, Josh Bhatti. “Bringing their premier festival to Boston is an important opportunity for us to continue to support and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in the Boston area, particularly at this time. We know there is nothing like good live music to unite folks and we look forward to welcoming everyone in June.”
