Monaco is world-renowned as a haven for the rich and famous. This sumptuous principality perched on the south coast of France is a backdrop to royalty, casinos, and yes, even a James Bond movie.
What you might not realize is that Monaco and its capital, Monte Carlo, has so much more to offer. The tourism office is working to attract and inspire more than playboy billionaires with a variety of activities!
Editor’s Note: Those who travel are strongly encouraged to check local government restrictions, rules, and safety measures related to COVID-19 and take personal comfort levels and health conditions into consideration before departure.

Visit for the Flavors!
Of course, you would expect an amazing selection of fine dining in such a destination and you will not be disappointed. From the dishes to the décor, COYA Monte-Carlo fulfills its promise to transport its guests to South America. Joining the restaurant in 2018, Chef Victoria Vallenilla is inspired by her nanny’s superb cooking skills and she reproduces her recipes as a way to pay homage to her.
Born in Caracas, Venezuela and growing up on the Caribbean island of Margarita, Chef Vallenilla draws on her childhood inspiration using modern techniques and flavors, but stays true ot South American cuisine with dishes such as Peruvian sashimi, beef filet tartare tacos, Chilean sea bass, and Pollo a al Parrilla – corn-fed baby chicken with ají panca and coriander.
