FITUR LGBT+ 2024 to Highlight Inclusion and Diversity
The FITUR LGBT+ will return as part of FITUR, an International Tourism Trade Fair, the global meeting point for tourism professionals, and the leading trade fair for inbound and outbound markets in Latin America. It’s all happening in Madrid from January 24 to 28, 2024. The LGBTQ+-friendly space located in Hall 9 of IFEMA Madrid will be celebrating diversity and showcasing new ways to promote tourism offers that emphasize inclusivity and sustainability.
Under the slogan ‘Conectando con la Diversidad’ (Connecting with Diversity), FITUR LGTB+’, will be inaugurated on Wednesday, January 24 at 4:30 pm with representatives from national and local institutions. After that, a wide-ranging activity and conference program will commence, including the official presentation of the Spanish Network of Destinations for Diversity, where project participants will explain the importance of the tourism offer made by destinations for travelers of all identities.
Attendees will be able to discover everything from dream-like coastlines to cities steeped in history through the exhibitors, who will share their latest innovations and once again demonstrate their commitment to inclusivity and creativity.
Throughout the fair (Wednesday, January 24 to Friday, January 26), the Fitur LGBT+ will host different presentations and forums where experts will share their knowledge alongside IBERIA, the main sponsor of this specialized area. At the weekend, the general public will be able to enjoy the more fun, lively, and varied side of FITUR LGTB+ with vibrant shows and various activities they can participate in.
- A range of specialized events focused on diversity and tourism: festivals in the LGBT+ segment, the senior segment, family, and trans. The presentation of Gandía as the host city for the Mr. Gay Comunitat Valenciana 2024 Gala will be a highlight.
- Weekend activities: you can enjoy musical performances by Libertad Montero, Cristal Forever, the legendary Black & White and Atreve el Musical, and even a Chueca Diversa fashion show by designer Jose Perea.
