Fall Into Nashville for the Halloween Season

Nashville is mainly known for two things: amazing live music and bachelorette parties! However, there is also a thriving queer scene in Music City just begging for all you rhinestone cowfolx out there to come and check out.

The city is home to an array of LGBTQ+ musical talent which is showcased every Tuesday by the RNBW Queer Music Collective at The Lipstick Lounge. Those looking to dance the night away or for a great drag show need to look no further than PLAY Nashville.   If a chiller vibe is more your speed then perhaps a night at Canvas Lounge. There’s literally something for everybody. Fall is a great time to visit too, especially with the Fall into Nashville Package being offered by Visit Music City.

The Fall into Nashville Package is a great chance to experience some of Nashville’s best outdoor attractions during the day, leaving your nights free to commune with your queer brethren. It will also enable you to take in the cool Autumn air and beautiful Fall foliage that surrounds you, but you’ll need to act quickly. This package is only available from now until October 30 and includes a minimum of a one-night stay at a participating hotel, your choice of outdoor attractions that you want to visit, and an exclusive 20% Discount Code to The Music City Shop.

Your choice of available attractions to visit include the following:
Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage – Home of the People’s President – With the Garden & Grounds Tour, you’ll take in the magnificent landscapes of this historic site. Explore the farm buildings, garden, Church, and much more during the autumn season. Escape to the past!

Lucky Ladd Farms – Enjoy a harvest-time experience at Lucky Ladd Farms! This general admission ticket includes 50+ FARMtastic activities, including the Corn Maze which has been named “Tennessee’s #1 Corn Maze” six years in a row. Are you up for the challenge?

Nashville Zoo – The cooler weather offers an exceptional experience at the zoo. This fall, explore the trails and take in all the animals. Did you know that there are more than 3,000 animals representing more than 325 different species at the zoo? Go see your favorites!

Cheekwood Estate & Gardens – Celebrate fall during Cheekwood Harvest! The changing of the leaves is one of the many garden highlights you’ll find as oaks, maples, dogwoods, and other trees greet you with their fall colors. There are plenty of pumpkins around to pick for your front porch or to take the perfect selfie with at the Pumpkin House. Say cheese!

In terms of participating hotels, you will have 143 properties to choose from but we highly recommend Holston House. Located just steps from the neon lights and honky-tonks of Lower Broadway — and a few blocks away from the queer part of town aptly named “The District” — Holston House Nashville is a chic retreat in the heart of downtown Nashville. And the best part? It’s currently operating a pop-up bar in honor of the queer Halloween classic Hocus Pocus!!

That’s right, until October 31, Holston House will transform its in-lobby bar, Bar TENN into a limited-time Hocus Pocus-themed Halloween bar to align with the release of Disney’s Hocus Pocus 2. Holston House’s Hocus Pocus bar will feature a themed cocktail and food menu, including the Sanderson’s brew cocktail, smoked chicken & sweet potato poutine, and the Binx cocktail. There will be plenty of spooky décor and on-site activations inspired by the original movie too.

So, what are you waiting for? Grab your broom and head on down to Nashville to run ‘amok amok amok’ this Halloween season!
