Copacabana Palace Partners with Fashion Brand Farm Rio for New Collection
Two of queer-friendly Rio’s most iconic brands, Copacabana Palace, A Belmond Hotel, Rio de Janeiro and FARM Rio, the city’s most renowned fashion brand, have collaborated on a centenary collection launching now at FARM stores around the world, available on FARM’s online shop and at Copa’s signature boutique. The capsule collection is inspired by the city’s vibrant Carioca spirit and Copacabana Palace’s 100 years of timeless elegance. This is the very first time that FARM Rio has teamed up with a luxury hospitality brand, connecting contemporary fashion with time-old glamour.
For this collaboration, the brand has developed two luxury pieces, especially for Copa’s centenary: a scarf inspired by the legendary Copacabana Palace hotel façade and a chemise by the world-famous Copacabana beach promenade.
FARM Rio pays homage to the city’s vibrant colors with a day-to-evening sophisticated fit that champions local culture and nature, through distinctive signature prints inspired by Brazil’s striking flora and fauna.
The Copacabana Scarf features the 1920s art deco hotel standing tall on Rio’s world-famous promenade, creating a timeless accessory showcasing elements of Brazilian blooms, such as the Hyacinth Macaw. The black Copacabana Chemise brings a tone of sophistication embellished with the classic tropical bananas print, for a quick transition from walks on the beach to dinner by the pool.
