Contiki Ramps Up for Pride-themed Tours This Summer

Pride month is right around the corner and now is the time when LGBTQ+ travelers are planning those epic travel adventures to celebrate Pride. Well, Contiki, a social travel company geared for primarily 18-to-35-year globetrotters, is ramping up its efforts this year to be more inclusive with multiple Pride-themed tours this summer from Amsterdam, Barcelona, London, and more. 

We told you in March that Contiki named entrepreneur and activist Aisha Shaibu-Lenoir as its new LGBTQIA+ ambassador! Aisha’s role is to continue to break down barriers and achieve visibility, equality, and equity for all within the community. Well, looks like they are taking things a step further and we’re here for it! 

So, if you enjoy celebrating LGBTQIA+ Pride in new ways, then you might consider one of their Pride-themed tours this summer! A fan-favorite trip for 2023, Contiki’s Spain Pride trip takes place on July 8-17, 2023 for 10 days of fun adventures from flamenco shows, tapas feasts, bike tours, and more. Contiki travelers will tour Sitges, the LGBTQIA+ capital of Spain, meet members of the community in Madrid, and enjoy premier access to one of the world’s most iconic Pride celebrations in Barcelona with musical performances and exhibitions plus a ticket to the official Pride after party. If travelers are looking for a quicker getaway without missing the main Pride event, they can opt for Contiki’s 4-Day Barcelona Pride tour.

Hitting multiple European hot spots, the Contiki Pride tour on July 28 – August 6, 2023, travels from London to Paris followed by a grand finale in Amsterdam for the Pride Amsterdam event with exclusive after-party access. Along the way, travelers will have the opportunity to explore the LGBTQIA+ districts in London and Paris, experience the iconic Moulin Rouge cabaret, and enjoy a picturesque Amsterdam canal ride.
