Vacationer: What’s the best travel advice you’ve received?
Captain Sandy Yawn: I lost a $20 bill due to windy weather. I was running to get it and my mother told me, “Slow down and don’t chase the money.” Isn’t that cool?
Which crew member do you stay in close contact with the most?
Bugsy, Melia, and Max, but I also stay in touch with Kate Chastain and Ben even though they weren’t on my season.
Who is the most interesting charter guest you’ve met while traveling?
Former Major League Baseball Player Johnny Damon because he’s wild and a cool guy!

Adventurous, romantic, foodie

What movie or book inspires or inspired you to travel?
I like books based on truth. So, Ernest Shackleton and all those people who are ocean-focused. I read their books and it makes me want to get out and go to sea.
