BeefDip Bear Week Set to Celebrate Its 20th Anniversary
Gay bears and their admirers are preparing for what’s touted as the “No. 1 Bear Week in the World” – BeefDip Bear Week in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! The annual bear gathering is celebrating its 20th anniversary from January 28 to February 4, 2024, and we want to make sure you know how to properly plan your bear getaway.
Normally, guests could purchase non-refundable/non-transferable Dog Tags to get into all the planned events and get access to discounts only available via the tags. And pretty much like previous years for this annual event, the Dog Tags have sold out! But don’t worry… you still can join the fun.
Burly revelers can stay at the Pinnacle 179 or Blue Chairs Resort, but you may be out of luck in finding a room since BeefDip is only a few weeks away. You may be able to find available accommodations at other PV hotels and or via Airbnb!
In addition to almost daily “BeefDip Takeovers” at Studs Bear Bar, beefy revelers can check out a sample of the scheduled events below.
Sunday, January 28
Welcome Party
Where: Blue Chairs Resort Rooftop
Time: 3 pm – Midnight
Music by: DJ Giaco (Puerto Vallarta)
Kickstart BeefDip Bear Week 2024 with our famous meet & greet at Blue Chairs Resort’s rooftop bar. Take the elevator in the lobby of the Blue Chairs Hotel and meet everyone on the top floor. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres, special performers, and a free BeefDip Margarita will be ‘served’!
Monday, January 29
Foam Pool Party
Where: Blue Chairs Resort
Time: 11 am – 6 pm
Music By: DJ Giaco (Puerto Vallarta)
Once again, BeefDip kicks off its Pool Parties with an incredible foam party inside Blue Chairs pool. Already a staple in our BeefDip Bear Week, the party will be going on from 12 am to 6 pm. Bring on your best swimwear and be ready to enjoy the first pool party of the week!
Tuesday, January 30
Classic Anthems Pool Party
Where: Azul Turquesa Real Experiences Hotel
Time: 11 am – 7 pm
Music by: DJ TK (Canada)
Beat the heat and see some meat at BeefDip’s second Pool Party with retro and classic anthems spun by International Guest DJ TK. Sign up for Canopy River Zipline Tours and Wild Trek ATV Tours during the Pool Party between 3 pm – 5 pm.
Wednesday, January 31
Bears On Line
Where: Canopy River Zipline
Time: 10 am
Bears On Line, Zip line that is…. Have a birds-eye view of the jungle while experiencing the thrill of zipping through the treetops at speeds of up to 50 km/h. To purchase tickets for this event, please visit the Canopy River Tours table during the Tuesday, January 30, 2024, Pool Party.
Thursday, February 1
BeefDip On All 4s
Where: Wild Trek ATV Tours
Time: 10 am
Explore the Sierra Madre as it’s never been done before. Get down and dirty on all 4s for BeefDip’s exploration of Vallarta and it’s a jungle on ATVs. The tour is approximately 3 hours. Visit the Wild Trek table during the Tuesday Pool Party (Jan. 30) to purchase tickets.
Friday, February 2
Booze Cruise
Where: The Pier by San Marino Hotel
Time: 9 am sharp!
All aboard as burly revelers become seamen for the day (wink wink). Enjoy the most beautiful views of Puerto Vallarta from Bandera’s Bay as you take off on a day’s adventure with snorkeling, whale watching, and swimming and a special beach lunch with bears from around the world. All food and drinks are included (on the boat). Please bring sunblock, a beach towel, and some money for tipping, souvenirs, and drinks on the beach. If you don’t have a tag and want to join us, please see us at the welcome center at the Blue Chairs hotel lobby.
Saturday, February 3
Sunset Beach Party
Where: Blue Chairs Beach
Time: 1 pm – 9 pm
Music by: Nalgaroth (Mexico)
Join us for our first sunset BEACH PARTY in collaboration with our friends Mad.Bear Beach from Spain and the up and Bearland Mx from Mexico. Brace yourself for an afternoon of sun, beach, great music (dance, top 40, mainstream), and sexy go-go bears.
Sunday, February 4
Hydrate Pool Party
Where: Azul Turquesa Real Experiences Hotel
Time: 11 am – 7 pm
Music by: DJ Gianco (Puerto Vallarta)
The coolest recovery party of the week finally arrives on Sunday, enjoy one last dip under the Mexican Sun at the most exquisite infinity pool in Old Town. Music spun by local BeefDip resident DJ Giaco. Includes food and drink specials.
