‘Attitude 101’ List Includes LGBTQ Trailblazers in Travel
For the second year, Attitude magazine has unveiled its Attitude 101 issue to highlight the work of 100 LGBTQ trailblazers across 10 categories and one person of the year. Each category consists of 10 individuals, not ranked in any particular order; instead, they are highlighting the collective power of our community’s individual achievements.
The categories include Sports, Politics, Technology, Media and Broadcast, Engineering & Mathematics, Travel, TV, Music, and more. No surprise, but Lil Nas X received the ‘Person of the Year’ honor for his groundbreaking music, Montero album, and his unabashedly openly queer attitude.
But it’s the Travel category that we were most excited to see – and it included a few faces to Vacationer Magazine and Queer Forty readers. Founder and CEO of The Point Guy brand, Brian Kelly, made the list and he was also featured on Vacationer Magazine in November. Kelli Carpenter, the co-founder of R Family Vacations, was on the list, too! Carpenter’s travel writing has also appeared on Queer Forty.
Other honorees in the Travel category, include drag queen Pattie Gonia and Uwern Jong, EIC for OutThere magazine. Congrats to everyone who made the list!
