Feeling Blue? We Have the Holiday Drink For You

The hallmark of vacation at a resort is often the cocktail. Perhaps a Pina Colada or a Margarita. But for us, it’s always been a blue or green drink, such as a Blue Lagoon or Mojito. Here are some cocktails to make at home when you want to feel like you are in lazing-by-the-pool mode.

Crafted by renowned mixologist Aaron Melendrez, these stunning creations are not only delicious but also serve as eye-catching decor for festive celebrations. They are perfect for the Holidays, a staycation, or any time you want to feel away.


Nautical Negroni   

  • 3/4oz Bluecoat American Dry Gin  
  • 3/4oz Suze  
  • 3/4oz Bianco Vermouth  
  • 1/3oz  Italicus Bergamot Liqueur  
  • 1/2oz Hpnotiq  
  • Glassware: Double Rocks  
  • Garnish: Long Grapefruit Zest, and Mandolin Cucumber Slice  

Instructions: Add all ingredients to the mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled, strain into a double rocks glass. Add a large ice cube, garnish.   

Description: The classic white negroni cocktail reimagined as an ocean blue negroni, complex, slightly bitter, spirit forward, herbal, exotic.

Blue Baburu  

  • 1oz Hpnotiq  
  • .5oz Japanese Whiskey  
  • .5oz Lemon  
  • 4 Dashes Peach Bitters  
  • 3oz Brut Champagne  
  • Glassware: Champagne Flute  

Instructions: Mix all ingredients in a shaker except champagne. Shake with 1 ice cube. Pour 3 oz of champagne into a glass. Pour the mixture cocktail mixer over top of the champagne. Garnish with a decorative lemon peel and half rim (approximately 1” deep) of super fine sugar  

Description: The French 75 reimagined, refined light Japanese whiskey with peach and lush fruit take centerstage on your palette while clean crisp champagne provides structure and balance  


Frosted Orchard 

  • 1.5oz Hpnotiq  
  • 1oz Deep Eddy Vodka  
  • .25oz Vanilla Syrup  
  • 1 Bar spoon Lemon Juice  
  • 3oz Sparkling Apple Cider  
  • 1 Sprig of Rosemary  
  • Garnish: Apple Slice, Rosemary Sprig, Cinnamon Sprinkle  
  • 1/4tsp Blue Spirulina  
  • Glassware: Double Rocks  

Description: A unique apple cider cocktail. Tastes like holiday cheer with notes of rosemary, vanilla and apple.

Dragon’s Hpnosis 

  • 1.5oz Capurro Pisco  
  • .75oz Hpnotiq  
  • .5oz Dragon Fruit Syrup  
  • .5oz Fresh Pineapple Juice  
  • 1oz Key Lime  
  • 1 Egg White  
  • Glassware: Coupe  
  • Garnish: Bitters design on fresh foam, red dragon fruit slice  

Instructions: Add all ingredients except egg white into a shaker tin. Carefully crack egg white into the opposite tin. Add 5-6 ice cubes and shake long and hard. Open the tin and fill it with ice. Short and hard. Strain frothy Cocktail into a coupe glass, shake out the last bit.  Drip bitters to the top of the cocktail in circles. Run a toothpick through bitters to create a design on top of cocktail foam. Garnish with dragon fruit  

Description: This is a unique twist on the pisco sour. Combining the flavor profiles of dragon fruit and mango, passion fruit, and citrus from Hpnotiq. This cocktail is balanced with key limes for a big lime flavor to provide balance Shaken with an egg white to achieve a beautiful silk texture that puts this cocktail in a league of its own.
