Kylie Minogue Opens a New Pop-Up Shop to Promote ‘Tension’
Queer Kylie Minogue fans can now buy the Pop Princess’s new album Tension which includes her summer hit “Padam Padam!” The new music comes as Minogue prepares for her first Las Vegas residency in the new Voltaire located at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, and we’re here for it!
On Attitude Magazine‘s website, Minogue talks about the album and says, “I’m the happiest when I feel like I’ve expressed some deep emotion or thoughts that I’m struggling with and it’s like talking to a friend. Speaking your truth is helpful.” She added, “When I’m able to do that, I like to almost paint it instead of just spilling it out.”
As if she wasn’t busy enough with her new album and Vegas show, the Australian diva just opened a new pop-up shop in London today, too! Located at 55 Regent Street, the Kylie store will be open to fans from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. throughout the weekend, ending on Sunday, September 24. Not coincidently, it’s part of a promotion strategy to release her 16th studio album.
Minogue personally curated the store with exclusive items such as limited-edition copies of Tension on vinyl as well as limited-edition signed prints and lithographs. Fans will also be happy to find limited-edition candles, clothing, merchandise, and event memorabilia to purchase at the store as well. Be sure to grab a bottle of the singer’s own brand of Rosé wine, too, rebranded to celebrate the release of the new album.
In a recent press release, the pop-up shop is touted as a “must-do experience for all Kylie fans, collectors, and music lovers.”
If you won’t be able to make it to the store, you will be able to catch her look back at the highlights of her career and perform her classic hits and new material in a commissioned special for ITV called An Audience with Kylie, according to Attitude Magazine. For now, you can check out the video for the catchy title track of her new album, Tension, below!
