IGLTA Announces Dates for Its 40th Annual Global Convention
The International LGBTQ+ Travel Association, or IGLTA, will be holding its 40th Annual Global Convention in San Juan, Puerto Rico from October 4-7, 2023.
Each year, the IGLTA Global Convention attracts hundreds of tourism and travel industry professionals. The convention is not only the largest of its kind, but it is also the longest-running. In fact, it is considered the world’s premier educational and networking event for LGBTQ+ tourism professionals.
The 40th-anniversary edition of the conference will connect LGBTQ+ welcoming travel and tourism suppliers with buyers through its hosted buyer and scheduled appointment program, numerous educational workshops, and networking receptions.
Hosted in Milan, Italy, IGLTA’s 2022 Convention sold out for the first time in the event’s history, so make sure you claim your spot early to get first access to all available opportunities. This year’s convention is expected to be their largest ever so the sooner you sign up, the better!
“As we continue to see increasing opposition toward LGBTQ+ communities globally, IGLTA’s convention—built around business networking, education, and inclusivity—could not be more critical,” said IGLTA President/CEO John Tanzella. “The incredible outpouring of support for this year’s convention (in Milan) further strengthens our ability to elevate LGBTQ+ voices in the tourism industry and to continue working to ensure LGBTQ+ travelers have access to safe and welcoming experiences as they explore the world.”
You can secure your spot at the conference in Puerto Rico with just a $100 deposit. With this refundable deposit, you can extend their early discounted convention rate until May 30.
Anyone who registers now will also be entered into a giveaway contest for a chance to win two free tickets to the IGLTA Foundation’s annual fundraising event, Voyage, plus a $500 flight voucher. Voyage helps raise funds to support global LGBTQ+ education, research, and the next generation of industry leaders.
