Travel Weekly Announces 2022 Readers Choice Awards
Travel Weekly has revealed the winners of their 2022 Readers’ Choice Awards.
In a ceremony taking place during a black-tie gala at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City on December 14, the prestigious publication announced the winners in a staggering 82 categories.
Readers were invited to nominate who they believed were the best companies for each category in an open ballet taking place over the summer. From that data, Travel Weekly identified a set of finalists for each category with a final vote taken place this fall to determine the winners.
Four Lifetime Achievement Awards were also presented to individuals whose work has significantly impacted their organizations and the travel industry as a whole. Those recipients this year were: Michael Premo, president and CEO of ARC; Anne Morgan Scully, partner with Embark Beyond; Matthew Upchurch, chairman and CEO of Virtuoso; and Arnold Donald, former president and CEO of Carnival Corp. The Travel Corporation was also honored with the Sustainability Award.
