Below Deck’s Kyle Viljoen Finds Love
Fans of Bravo’s Below Deck Mediterranean bore witness to a very passionate kiss between one of our favorite Vacationers of the Week, Kyle Viljoen, and a handsome suitor named Frank on last week’s episode. The heated lip-lock was the culmination of an ongoing flirtation between the two men that began as soon as Frank stepped aboard the Below Deck superyacht. Theirs was a forbidden romance given that Frank was a guest chartering the ship on which Kyle served as Stew, which of course made for engaging television.
There are very strict regulations prohibiting any sort of fraternization between crew members and guests, resulting in sexual tension that positively pulsed off the television screen. Kyle’s candid admission that he was struggling to maintain his professional boundary with Frank poured fuel on the fire of speculation surrounding the two. Luckily, Kyle was able to control himself in the end, thus protecting his job, and viewers were treated to an adorable courtship between the two. Once the charter ended the men decided to put their chemistry to the test during Kyle’s off hours at a club on land.
Of course, the question on everyone’s lips is if the two have remained together since filming of the show wrapped? Kyle spoke exclusively with Bravo’s The Daily Dish to answer all your burning questions.
“I came to New York to meet Frank after the show. And that lasted about a week. And the same week we broke up is the same time I met [my current boyfriend] Zachary. And I fell head over heels for [Zachary],” he shared. “He literally won me over very easily.”
He went on to explain that something about Frank just stirred up a lot of emotions with him, further clarifying that he’d never been romantic with a charter guest before. As for his boyfriend Zachary, he had this to say to Bravo Insider :
“I fell head over heels for him. Zachary’s work as a physical therapist and his desire to focus on helping transgender patients also won my soul. This guy’s got an amazing heart.” He went on to say “This man is definitely my future husband. There’s no doubt about it.”
We just love happy endings! Congratulations Kyle and Zachary!!
